I'm getting a black screen after creating cac and then watching/skipping the first Cinematic the game just stays in black screen no audio as well or any error pop ups please look into this matter and fix as soon as possible :)

Hello everyone,
Today, I would like to bring to notice a common error that has been occurring to me and some people. The problem is- Every time we launch START.exe from Steam and create our Custom Character and proceed past the first cutscene, we get a black screen which doesn't lead to anywhere in the game. I found out that this issue was common to people with the original game as well.

I would kindly like to request to the concerned people and people who know anything about this issue to help us get past this error and provide a fix. Any sort of fix in overcoming this issue will be gladly appreciated.

what sort of error code do u get?

It would most likely because u have to run with STEAM open in background and DO NOT run START.exe ,,, I guess there's another application in the folders that runs the game, i think that is DBX2 OR DBXV2.

Anyways here are the fixes. BTW pls anyone tell the fix for the black screen error after creating CAC??

I get the error code 3:0000065432 I tried adding START.exe to steam and run it through there but it doesn't open up. I also tried running the DBXV2.exe through steam and that also didn't work.
When I tried running start.exe as an admin, it worked but it created a game in my steam libary ''Spaceworld'' and then the game would open but the controller wouldn't work then.

@Leroey78,
you only have to run steam in background and do nothing else.
just run steam and go to the folder of game and start dbxv2.exe from the file explorer as administrator and NOT through STEAM. STEAM recognizes the game as SPACEWAR so no issues about that.

Also you would face an issue about black screen after creating a CAC which I faced when I downloaded it some days back. If u face this kind of problem, pls report it in here and let us know.

I don't know about the controllers in DBXV2 if they support or not, so I can't provide any help on that one. Sorry.
